It has internal pockets and shoulder strap metal, while the panel is a true work of art inspired by a painting which is painted a panorama of sea, a marina with lots of bars on the pier!

One of the most anticipated fashion shows of Milan Fashion Week was definitely one of Dolce&Gabbana bags. A fashion show awaited not only by lovers of clothes, but also and above all passionate about the bags, just like us. We were curious to know if this autumn-winter 2011/2012 was again the protagonist Miss Sicily, cult bag brand, and it was here because new models in this collection, decorated with sequins and mini versions, and all the news.

“The online boutique is like a game. It’s a fun and immediate way to shop, without space or time limitations. We are confident it will get people even closer to D and G’s dynamic universe,” Stefano Gabanna said.

As the website doesn’t have the overheads of regular retail outlets, Dolce & Gabbana is offering a 20% discount on all online sales.

“The idea is to peel off the superfluous because there are too many clothes, too many seasons, too much advertising, too much of everything that is tacked onto the final price. We want to go back to how things were 20 years ago. It’s about drawing the line. This is the only way to save the market and our companies. It’s time to turn the page,” added Domenico Dolce explained.

I’ll bet most of us don’t care why we’re saving money. It’s just wonderful to enjoy the discounts.

Sticky tax situations are not completely uncommon for internationally sought-after designers. It was only last year that Roberto Cavalli cleared his name concerning anunflattering accusation of tax evasion in 2002.  

Well, Cavalli was certainly not the first and not even the most recent fashion designer to deal with this type of issue. Now Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who we all know from their Dolce & Gabbana handbags and apparel, have found themselves in a similar pickle.

Following their 2004 sale of their two brands, the designing duo has been accused by Italian police of declaring a significantly smaller amount received from the sale than the estimation of the transaction’s market value. It’s an unfortunate turn of events for the pair since, if the charges are set, they could owe more than a billion dollars in fines and taxes. Can you just imagine how many Dolce & Gabbana bags that would buy?

The two designers are vehemently denying the charges saying that the calculated market value was much higher than the actual sale. I can only hope for them that Italian officials won’t take as long to decide on their fate as they did for Roberto Cavalli. Six years is a long time to sit around wondering whether or not you owe billions to someone … or maybe it’s just a great time to save.

So it seems fitting that designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are also set to appear in the fashionable film!

This isn’t the first time Dolce and Gabbana have been bitten by the acting bug. They made their film debut in 1995, appearing in Giuseppe Tornatore’s Academy-Award nominated flick L’Uomo delle stelle (The Star Maker). But we’ll have to wait a little longer to see their latest acting turn. Nine will hit theaters across the United States on November 25.
